6. Match the closure to the neck size

A closure only works if it fits the bottle. The neck size is the outside diameter of the bottle’s opening in millimetres, and the closure must be made for that size and thread. A 24mm pump will not fit a 20mm neck, and even two “20mm” parts can have different thread styles.

Checks to make before you order
