Many brands sell more than one: for example, a 50ml spray for the main product, 5ml samples, and an attar version of the same scent in a 6ml bottle.
2. Choose a bottle style that fits your brand
With perfume, shape and colour tell the customer what to expect before they smell it.

Whichever shape you choose, check the label area. Your label or print needs room for the product name, volume, batch details and directions, so a bottle that looks good empty can feel crowded once labelled. 3. Spray, screw cap or attar cap: choosing the closure
The closure decides how the fragrance is used, and it is where most leaks start. Our standard perfume bottles come with one of two closure styles.
- Spray: the standard for alcohol-based perfumes, colognes and body mists. Round Line, Box Round, Box Tall and Blue bottles use a spray closure, and Small Perfume Bottles are available with one.
- Screw cap: for oils, attars, refills and products that are poured or dabbed rather than sprayed. Attar Bottles and Large Screw Perfume Bottles use screw caps, and Small Perfume Bottles are also available with one.
When you compare spray bottles, ask how the sprayer is fitted. Some sprayers are crimped permanently onto the neck, which gives a tight, tamper-evident seal but means the bottle cannot be refilled. Others screw on, which makes filling and refilling easier but needs a well-matched neck to stay leak-free. Choose based on how you fill and whether customers will refill.

5. Attar bottles and car perfume bottles
Attar bottles
Attar and perfume oils are concentrated, so customers use only a little at a time. That is why attar is usually sold in small bottles. Attar Bottles at Snak Holdings come in 6ml and 10ml glass with a screw cap, in amber or clear.
- Amber: reduces how much light reaches the oil. A sensible default if the attar will sit on a sunny shop counter.
- Clear: shows off the colour of the oil. Best when the bottle is boxed or kept out of direct sunlight.

Car perfume bottles
Car Perfume Bottles are compact glass bottles made for vehicle fragrances, in 3ml, 8ml and 10ml. They suit hanging or diffuser-style products and promotional scents. Car fragrances get heat and movement every day, so a leak test in a warm, parked car is worth doing before you order a full batch.
6. Make it yours from the standard range
You do not need custom moulds to get a bottle that looks like your brand. Because the Snak Holdings catalogue is large, you can mix and match bottles, closures, colours and finishes from the standard range to create your own look, with no minimum order quantity on standard items. For example, pair Box Tall bottles for your signature scent with Small Perfume Bottles for samples.
Logo printing and fully custom OEM packaging are available on request. As a guide, we recommend fully custom OEM packaging from about 500 pieces, because customization costs are high, and it usually takes around two weeks depending on the customization.
Checks to make before you order
A few tests with a sample bottle can save an expensive mistake.
- Spray test: fill a sample with your real fragrance and spray it 20 or 30 times. Check the mist is even and the sprayer does not drip or clog.
- Leak test: close the bottle, lay it on its side for a day, and check the neck and closure. For car fragrances, repeat it somewhere warm.
- Compatibility test: leave the fragrance in the bottle for a few weeks and watch for changes in colour or smell, or in the sprayer or cap liner. This matters most for strong oils and high-alcohol perfumes.
- Label and box check: try a printed mock-up of your label on the bottle, and check the bottle fits the box or gift set you plan to use.
- Reorder check: make sure the same bottle, closure and finish will be available when you reorder, so every batch looks the same.
